The 10 Year Health Plan: A survey of your hopes and expectations

Publication of the 10 Year Health Plan is expected soon, and we want to know what you hope it will contain, and how you foresee it impacting both your day-to-day working life, and the long-term outlook for the services you deliver. It’s thought that the Plan will reflect the core principles of the Darzi Review:
- Hospital to Community:
Bringing care closer to people’s homes, potentially through new neighbourhood health services, and reducing reliance on hospitals.
- Analogue to Digital:
Investment in modern technologies and digital solutions to modernise NHS systems, including the development of a single, patient-owned health record.
- Sickness to Prevention:
Prioritising preventing illness through early detection and management of chronic conditions, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles.
We’ve created this quick, two-question survey to gather the thoughts of professionals across North East and North Cumbria Primary Care. Responses will be used to inform an article for this website and our newsletters.
