Dr Rajiv Mansingh
Tell us about yourself.
I am a GP Partner and Clinical Lead at Marlborough Surgery in Seaham Primary Care Centre.
Additionally, I hold a role as NEPCN Clinical Director, and I am on the Board of directors for South Durham Health GP Federation. I am also a GP trainer and appraiser.
What’s your role for the PCC?
I provide general practice representation from Durham for the PCC.
Why did you want to get involved?
I have been a GP partner in County Durham for 13 years and have experience from PCT and CCG times which I believe can help strengthen the PCC’s objectives to benefit the wider primary care.
What are your hopes for what the PCC might achieve?
From my involvement right from the beginning and the work we have done so far, I hope that PCC will act as a strong, combined voice for dentistry, general practice, optometry, and pharmacy, working together to improve people’s health across the North East and North Cumbria.
