David Cummins, the ICB’s Clinical Lead for Planned Care and Sustainability, has put a call out for people to join an online Sustainabilty Directory.
If you, or a colleague, are a member of a ‘Green Team’, or currently acting as a ‘Green Champion’, or even if you’re simply someone who takes an interest in sustainability, this is your chance to connect and share best practice.
David, who also works as a GP in Northumberland said: “The plan is to compile a list of clinical and non-clinical staff in each PCN across the ICB who are involved in any form of sustainability work.
“We want to share case studies and best practice on an online learning network, so that we can celebrate success but also learn from each other. What has worked well in North Cumbria, for example, could potentially be duplicated in South Tyneside or Durham and beyond.”
